Come with us on a breathtaking 2 ½ hour journey along the rim of Waipi’o Valley to the top of Hi’ilawe, one of Hawaii’s highest and most beautiful waterfalls.
From historic Kukuihaele Village, we ride past sugar cane fields and taro patches, enjoying spectacular views accessible only on horseback. Hear rushing waters plunge into the valley and savor the vista of a mile wide black sand beach edging the valley below. Maui’s Haleakala seems to float on the horizon, as Mauna Kea and the rainforest clad hills of Kohala surround you.

• Weight limit 225lbs/102kg
• Participants must be in good general health
• Not recommended for the elderly, disable, or pregnant woman. All participants must sign a waiver.
• Suggested attire is long pants and covered shoes.
• Bottle water due to remote location
From Honoka’a take Hwy 240 to Waipi’o Lookout. Turn right just before the lookout and proceed down hill to the Waipi’o Valley Artworks on the left. Our office is located right of the Waipi’o Valley Artworks. Check in time is 30min prior the tour. We will transport all rider in a 4-wheel drive van to our stable in the Waipi’o Ridge are.
